Sanyo Xacti FH1 Full HD 1080p test

I decided to test out the full HD feature on my new Sanyo FH1. I have to say, the picture quality is very clean and crisp. Its a very nice camera

What kind of SD card are you using? I'm using a class 4 card for this camera and it records in 1080/60p but don't you need Class 6 for that? (at least)

Can you mount your own microphone to it? An external?

@TeamSwatGameplay sadly, there is no input for an external microphone. However, the internal mic is pretty decent. It's always been able to get the job done.

I just got mine a couple days ago and I'm finding that at wide zoom focusing around 2 meters the image is very soft. When I zoom in (all locked down on a tripod, btw) it gets nice and sharp. I know it's common for lenses to be softer wide, but this is really terrible looking. Have you noticed this? Your video looks nice and sharp so I'm wondering if I got a bad sample...

@tommysandwitch I never use the camera to take pictures, but I just tried it out, and the pictures come out fine. If your hand is a bit shaky, the picture will still be clear. However, if you are walking while trying to take a picture, it comes out blury
