I went to school with Kristen. She is a damned awesome singer. Not exactly conventional but has an amazing voice (And she is hotter in real life than ever on film - amazing woman at all of 5'0)

Yep, it won the Tony for Outstanding Musical and Idina Menzel won the Tony for Outstanding Actress In A Musical in 2004. The original cast recording of the musical has gone double platinum, and it's still running on Broadway after 3 years. So I'd do some research before calling the music terrible.
By the way, nice video, the ending was really sweet.
