This is a vintage video of a 1930s flyover of the Ford Airport. Henry and Edsel Ford built the world's first concrete runway. After standing in the rain watching the muddy landings upon the return for the 1925 National Air Tour they concluded adding a little automotive technology would help -- pave a strip on the grass field!
Another fantastic piece of film!

From 1:12 to 1:19, the, as yet uncompleted, Edison Institute Museum Building (today Henry Ford Museum) can be seen in the upper left.
