@fn6878 In all honesty mate there aint a lot of choice regarding syndicates in our area, which is why i travel south every weekend. I had my name down on Patshull a few years back, and the ticket came up in the first year but i decided not to take it, so it's worth having your name on as you never know. you coud always try RH's waters, weston park, acton etc?

@fn6878 Hiya mate, yeh i'm from Wolves, yourself? The lake is operated as a 60 man syndicate down in Milton Keynes, but has a substantial waiting list at the moment. It's roughly 60 acres in size with a good head of 30's with the biggest mirror reguarly over the 44lb mark. Hope that helps mate

@particlepete1 I used a pear lead on my marker rod (Its a nice lead for feeling the lake bed, yet easy to pluck from the weed), cast it into the weed then carefully plucked it out till it hit the hard gravel right on the edge of it, i was then fishing as close upto the wall of weed as i could mate, hope that helps :)
