  • it has hks titanium exhaust.

if it was on twin gt35's then ya it would be pushing more than 700hp. but by the fact that the customer did not want to build up the bottom end. we stuck with the stock motor and told him it would be safe to run up to 700hp. the setup is twin gt28s from HKS. he also has the new evc to adjust boost for daily driving and track.

  • what type of cams are you running for this setup? 272's? or 264's?

  • 272s

  • That should be putting out WAY more than 700 horsepower. Those look like twin GT35r turbos, and that bottom end has to be built.

  • bottom end not built so it is pushing 700hp safely.

  • @germancatala yeah my one jay does that its awsome hearing 2 diff bovs reminds me of the bigging of let it burn

  • @Texarmageddon I don't know of a single modified motor that will put over 40,000 miles before needing a refresh or something of that sort. I don't know of a single 800+ whp car with over 50,000 miles, regardless of displacement or method of power. Making large amounts of power won't last forever. Lasting 20-40K miles is really good for that type of power. If you truly want 100,000+ mile reliability keep your car bone stock.

  • @kageryu311 Gosh i hate the reliability speeches.... even more so is when the guy only puts 20-40,000 miles running this kind of power. I think there are a lot of factors to consider before we give reliability speeches to everyone.

  • im glad other people herd the bov go off two separate times. i thought i was going crazy!

  • @spainobain1234 You don't need to build the bottome end to make 700whp reliably on the 2JZ. There are plenty of people making 700 on the stock bottom end. Going over 800whp on a stock bottom end is where reliability fails.

A good tune and regular maintenance go a long time.

  • That damn sound gives me chills everytime...

  • Would I have to build the bottom end to achieve a reliable 700 horsepower? Or can I throw upgrades on the stock engine.? What can I do to make the motor last more than 150,000 Miles with 700hp. I have a 750 horse power kit but am nervous to install it without a bottom end high performance rebuild.

  • i like how some people THINK they know more then the person that built the car!!

  • lol pretty funny how you can here each BOV go off at seperate times
