It sucks. By the way, the pains on the left side of my head and face are much diminished and practically gone.

A correction: When I said Xanax, I of course meant Zantac. I was joking at work with someone about Xanax, so I guess that put it in my mind!

  • I was recently diagnosed with this horrible mess of an illness.I was outside, when I started getting head pains.I went back inside and then my vision started going haywire and the pain got extremely intense.I also started vomiting and having shortness of breath.I get rushed to the ER,they say it's a migraine, give me an IV and release me.The pain goes away, but all the vertigo and odd visual symptoms stay.A week later my regular doc says it's labrynthitis and that I just have to wait it out.

  • Hope you're better by now!

  • God this is what i have!! I thought i have a brain tumer or something.....also i get a fluttering if my ears..

  • Yes, I had that occasionally as well.

  • you know, i have this condition for a bout two days, and i think i am stuck with it, and i dont know how im gonna live like this

  • You'll recover! It sometimes takes a while - anywhere from a couple of weeks to months, sadly. The days passed very slowly for me and I became very anxious and depressed, but after four months I was back to 100%

  • Thanks for the reminder to be thankful - it's so true.

I hope you feel better soon.

  • Wow sorry to hear you have been unwell, very nice to see you again though. I think you should never worry about not having anything to say, don't you have to give a sermon once a week? I would love to hear some of that.

  • -- Are these typical symptoms? Can someone please help?

  • I don't know what to do with myself. I'm not even sure I have "this", but my ENT mentioned an inner ear problem. It gets better, somewhat, but is real bad tonight. My symptoms are as follows: Headache, Head feels full and heavy, my jaw feels tight, my ears hurt with constant ringing, my balance feels very off with a feeling of being zoned out, I eyes hurt, and just plain dizzy. This all started one day for no apparent reason, and it has been like this for months. I'm really worried. Are these t

  • I had this , it took me around 2 weeks to be cleared of labyrinthitis , so fucking scary when the room started spinning when I looked up when lying down ! to anyone who sees this and has this infection then try to stay calm and get well soon

  • I really appreciate this.

  • Thanks for the video mate, I hope after 4 months I will be back to 100% also, Im on week 7, and yes I was very afraid I thought I have a brain tumour or something! for God's sake this brang my life back! And some doctors do not even know what this illness is all about.

  • @fishhead06 Thank you so much for this video. I am 5 weeks in now and receiving physical therapy which is helping. It is a more obscure illness; therefore, it took me some time before I had a correct diagnosis. Once I was diagnosed (3 weeks in) it offered some relief to just have an answer. I have not driven since my first attack which was so severe that I passed out and was sent 911 to an e.r. I hope to be back to work in a week. Again, thanks for posting a video--I don't feel so alone now.

  • I have labyrinthitis right now, scary condition. I had to lay on my back with my eyes closed full 3 to 4 days straight. If opened my eyes, the room would spin and I'd start to feel very ill within 30 seconds. About 5 days later I could walk around for an hour in the afternoon. 7 days later I can walk around and see but I still feel light headed.

Check out my channel to see my vidoes on my experience if you are suffering with it too.

  • Hi i've had this for over 6 months now, at first i was freaking out because i didnt know what it was but all i can say is that it will go away.the first month was the worst! im 21 and used to be very active i played soccer ride dirtbikes and skate, i gave up all that for a while i feel a lot better now and kind of started doing all that again and trust me it works just think positive, other thing that helpes me is that im taking vitamin C and vitamin B12 this helps ur imune system.

  • Great description! It's weird how much advantage you can take of something like your balance. Mine came on about 3 days after an issue with swimming, but my doctor said it was in no way related.
