Every Time You Lie (A Nick Jonas Love Story) Chapter 42

*Nick's POV*
Do you think I waited too long? For her to cool off? It's been like four days. Long enough. I think at least. I guess I should come clean.
When I got to her house, my voice was so soft. She let me in, I sat and took her hands. Locking them in mine.
"Alexa..." was I really going to do this? Break her heart?

*Alexa's POV*
"Alexa..." he started. I nodded for him to go on.
"I'm sorry. For everything. I did kiss Ashlee. But I was just so lost. It didn't mean anything to me. It was a mistake. You're the only girl for me. I should be hanging out with you instead of her, I shouldn't have called you a loser. I shouldn't have overreacted. I just really don't want to lose you. I understand if you hate me forever. I just want you to know I'm sorry." his head dropped down. I brought his face back up and kissed him. He pulled away.
"You forgive me?" I nodded, smiling.
"I wanted the truth Nick. That was all." I embraced him into a hug. It felt good to be in his arms.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too." I rested my forehead on his. It was completely romantic until he got a call.
"Hello?" he said while pulling away from me. "Okay, bye Joe." he went back to me.
"We have to go to a interview today. I'll see you tonight. Later Lexy." he lightly pressed his lips to my cheek and out the door he went.
I love him. I truly do. I even ignored the fact that he had two hickeys on his neck!

*Kevin's POV*
"Devonnn," I called out. She was tagging along with us. I saw her head pop up.
"Hi Kev! Are we leaving yet?" she asked me.
"Maybe, as soon as mom and dad are all set. And when Nick comes back. And when Joe and Natalie stop making out." I ushered to them.
"Eww. Guys stop sucking face." Devon teased. Surely they did, both of them blushing. But after a minute they went back at it.
"They can never get their hands off each other can they?" Devon laughed. The door flew open.
"Hey Nick, cover up those hickeys and we can leave." I said to him, Devon giggled.
"Say what?"

*Nick's POV*
I bolted to the bathroom to see the mirror. Crap, they're right! I hope Lexy didn't see. Who am I kidding? They're freaking huge! Ugh damn it Ashlee. I walked out only to see Natalie and Devon in front of me. With a brush like thing and a circular box.
"We're here to fix your problem. Now sit down." Natalie said as Devon pulled up a stool.
"Um, what?" I asked.
"Stay still. This might tickle." and with that, Nat started stroking my neck with that brush thing. I started laughing. "Stop, it tickles!"
"Suck it up Nick! Stop moving. Ugh Devon, could you hand me the duct tape and rope?" My eyes grew wide.
"R-rope? Du-duct t-tape? I'll stay still." I stuttered and gulped. "Good," Natalie smiled and started brushing my neck again.
"Devon, get me the concealer." Nat said. I chuckled. "Isn't that stuff for like pimples?"
"Yes but if you shut up it'll work." she snapped. Joe's girlfriend is so mean. Devon, on the other hand, is very nice.
Devon came back with the small bottle.
Natalie squeezed a tiny amount into her palm and carefully applied it to my neck. After that, she reapplied the blush or whatever that power thingy is. I thought they only came in pink. Guess I learned something new today.
"There, good as new. You can't even see it."
"Thanks girls." I said.
"No problem love," Natalie said as she pinched my cheeks. Oww.
"Nick, you do realize Lexy saw right?" Devon said.
"Lets hope not."
