  • I'm applying for a receptionist job tomorrow, working on my cover letter. =)

  • "Crap job"....as you watch high-salary people around you being fired routinely. Not a crap job at all. It's like an occupational "bomb shelter".

  • It is a pretty sweet job and it is a very important component to any office function.

  • @Shugarbeen You can slam all you want but keeping a business office in an orderly fashion is important. It's too bad you just don't get it.

  • @pure0pwnage a so called crap job is better than no job at all!

  • All the people here calling receptionist work "crap jobs' simply need to get over themselves. It is good honest work and nothing wrong with it. I have TWO BA degrees and I've done this work for over a decade and I love my job! I'd say in these tough economic times one should heed the words of the Desiderata which reads in part "Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time."

  • @Shugarbeen : That's the beauty of it--it DOESN'T. One of the last of the REAL occupations. ;])

  • @Shugarbeen

yea its funny this program is maybe at most 20 weeks , however people do 2-4 years simply becuz the higher the education the higher change of work....
