People who can't afford health insurance can NOT get preventive medicine. Instead they have to wait until the problem gets so bad, they are rushed to the ER.

What could of been cheap to treat, could very well be a multi thousand dollar cost. And guess what? The patient can't pay that. Thus spreading the cost to everyone who can.
