what are you feeding them lol i went to CA and fed squirrels reeses cups because i didnt have anything else but they didnt jump on me like that =P i know its bad to feed them junk but a squirrel deserves sweets too haha

The best food for squirrels are peanuts still in the shell. If you crinkle the peanut shell between your fingers and call the squirrel they will come right to you to get it. They love peanuts!

I bought a big bag of peanuts for the sole purpose of feeding the squirrels on campus. God knows I'll never want to go back to the dorm if I get a turn out like this. :3 :DDDD

I have 3 living in my backyard and I too feed them but will only let then get close to me but never touch and for two reasons. 1 I want them to retain a little fear so that they wont try to get to close to my neighbors who might not like them and 2 for the sake of my guests who may not want them on them. But yeah, I love them. Theyre really fun to watch and hang with.

One of them though is super tame and really wants to climb on me lol.
