  • r u scared of snakes?

  • Scared? No, but I am extremely cautious around them. They deserve our respect and reverence.

  • Beautiful animal! You can see that this one only wanted to get away. They only react defensively when they feel threatened. They aren't the monsters that they've been made out to be.

  • very true

  • beautiful. snakes have creepy qualities and it makes them underappreciated

  • right

  • Video is a little on the long side for us bandwidth miser's. I just caught a small rattler in my garage today. My cat had him pinned down behind some boxes on the floor. Easy to catch for those that don't like killing things. I just took a broomstick and snagged him and pulled him into a one of those plastic storage container thingy s you get at walmart and took him where he wouldn't bother anyone. My neighbors all kill them and get miffed at me for letting them go.

  • @75Scout2Man hahah ya shoot it finally some one that does wut i do

  • @manco2000 i Am i got bite by a gardener snake wen i was six ever since than i have hated snakes and try to kill them every time i see one most of the time i dont suceed

  • I almost got bitten by a rattlesnake when I was walking a trail outside Tucson.

Lying right close. I wouldn't describe them as beautiful, I think we'd be better off without them.

  • great sight and sound, its great that at least some people have respect for these animals.

  • @kensimmonsmba

    My sentiments exactly

  • Thank you for not demonizing the species. How far away were you? Was the snake aware of your presence?

I personally am terrified of them and am trying to get over it as I enjoy hiking in the desert hills at dusk and after dark. Oddly enough I have encountered rattlesnakes 3 times in my life. They never rattled at me or acted aggressive, at the same time they didn't seem very scared or did not make efforts to get away from me. In fact they just stayed put until I left the area.

  • Shoot it shoot it!!! I just kilt a rattler the other day... a shot through the head, and then through the guts... I dont really like them rattlers, but i like king snakes
