its just adding effects to a song/voice, reverb, echo, simple tuning, and/or what not, whatever, just like many professionally produced songs, like what u find in mainstream media, like omg ;)

in this case the talent has to be there to sound the way it is, anyone of his fans who know him know of course he doesn't need 'autotune'.
