People often asks me "What about the UN.. the Zeitgeist Movement wants to have a global issue, have you guys had tried to do anything with the UN?"

Well, I would like to say outright that while the UN has a possibility of doing something, as it always has, you have to remember what the UN is at this point in time. Is a collection of these country representatives, and the country representatives really have only one true responsibility within the global paradigm and it has nothing to do with their people. It has to do with the GDP and economic viability of their country.

The problems that the UN was suppose to take care of and obliterate such as swet-shops slavery, atrocious pollution, depletion, deforestation, energy emissions, globalization problems -economic colonialism is what you should really call it- and of course the wars, it has failed miserable, the UN is a complete disgrace.

You can also argue that the intent of the UN was to just simply centralize power for the west and I think there is probably some truth to that too, just like the World Health Organization, World Bank, IMF and all these sudo-global organizations that marble in their poetry like there is suppose to be encompassing the planet and its people when they really don't. There's vested interest across the board.

If the UN had done its job like its suppose to do they would've slam sanctions against the US, England and the entire Ira k collision upon its invasion. They were not sanctioned by the UN Security Council or in accord with the UN charter, why to just let it go? because America runs everything, it is the dominant empire and even the UN can't compete with that and the people within the UN are not about to step-up to the big bully in the room.

I consider the UN to be a complete disgrace. While I don't dismiss anybody, you just have to look at what it is, what its suppose to do, what its points were and its just another sad conglomerate of crap that has been polluted by the monetary system and the self interest of the countries and it will not stop WWIII or anything else. Specially when energy scarcity and problems continue to rise... so, I don't want to label any of this but it's depressing. It's depressing to see what it could've been in the positive sense in getting the level plain field going but, the mechanics of society, the way it's setup won't allow for such a thing. So I just wanted to reiterate that.
