Thank you for sharing! What a great road trip you must have had! I am going to Hoven, SD tomorrow to spend Christmas with my parents over there. It's nice to see something about South Dakota.

@Bombpop Very cool video, I live about 127 miles east of Des Moines I know that route very well. I go through the Black Hills a lot!!! I never get tired of seeing it... Thanks for posting the video!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to live in Selby, SD and Spearfish, SD. There isnt much in South Dakota, but its still a good state to be in. I would rather be there then here in Washington State

I grew up in the black hills.....to add to me8825's comment....you tourists....STOP trying to pet the buffalo, take pictures with them or feed them...they are wild animals! You don't see Dakota natives walking up to a 2 ton animal with horns and trying to pet em do you?

Anyone with half a brain knows that though. I'm not sure why you got on this soapbox but I hope you like the view from there.
I am a huge advocate of animal rights so you don't really need to preach about it on my comments.
I did not try to pet them, I did not try to feed them and I didn't try to take pictures with them. I took pictures OF them but not WITH them Furthermore, you shouldn't be hating on tourists as tourism is the majority of your states income

Dude sweet. It is nice to hear good stuff about south dakota. Nobody ever talks about it. I love living in South Dakota.

It's an amazing part of America not only is it beautiful but it actually feels good to be there touches your spirit. I plan to return.
