Absolute BRILLIANCE! Michael Schenker is a guitar master!!!

@nickerz65 69 gibson v was my main from 81 til 86 , when i changed to guild. Anyway, I really liked the gain and pickup/speaker response of the V. Got a really nice midrange tone and adequate sustain. Fast sleak neck much like a telecaster. Also, higher frets were easily reached. Only problem i had was breaking strings2-3 songs into a set.

I actually think the Dean V's sound better...they have more timber and resonance than the Gibson V's and he seems to get a really nice natural wah tone comming from his fingers...the Pickups in the dean sound hotter too..and the thicker body seems to let it breathe more....remember...I think alot in the Dean is something Michael wanted.

@vigildon Dean V's sound just as good or better. I had a Gibson signature "Rudolph Schenker V" -yes . they made one for him. I picked up a Dean reissue79 V and sold my Gibson. Not only do Deans sound just as good or better, but they're made way better! Schenker's problem is he hasn/t had a good label behind him in years. You can't write and record a cd in a week with a low budget and expect it to leave a lasting impression (most of the time anyway)

Schenker has been playing Dean since 2004,I wish he'd change back too.Axe ,I've got another one of your videos to check off my list :)I love this song Thanks

If Simon Phillips made up the original beat, he's the one I truly respect.

I've got a Dean V and I can tell you it kicks Gibsons ass-and I've had Gibson V's!
I love the drum beat to this song. It's phenomenal.

i dunno is it just me or does the gibson V just sound better than a dean....ive seen alot of these vids already and ive placed my judgement on the dean V and its just not as tasty sounding as the vintage gibsons.

I noticed Schenker's sound changed with the Dean, that tone is missing,I would love to see him back with his trademark the Gibson V again,I believe it was more of a need to make the need deal due to the financial problems he had in the past & the contract is still in effect,I agree with you on that vigil!
