Of course it makes no sense to you! Your in no need of these advanced features i say leave it to the pros and just stick to your 30D.

Yes, it is... Price is way to high for junk that I don't really need. So why the hell should I pay more if I get the same quality picture? 30D is by far the best Canons small sensor SLR right now. Hell, for the same money I could get even 5D with big sensor and really good lense. Its just not making any sense to me...

It's not the 10 fps that's the best part...it's the bursts of 4 or 5 that are closer together in succession than in previous models. I dont think I ever shoot 8 frames in a row. Shooting 4 frames in 1/2 second and shooting 5 frames in 1/2 second is actually a huge advantage and huge selling point of this camera! The ability of getting one more frame from the "decisive moment" is huge.
