I also said cut taxes for companies that keep jobs here...what is so hard to understand about that?

Did it ever occur to you that these companies ship jobs overseas because they're so heavily taxed they can't afford to hire American workers? Think about it--hire a worker here for $15 or so an hour versus a worker in China for $15 a day.
That being said, my vote for Hoogendyk will be a protest one. Levin will win.

If you make it affordable for companies to do business here, they will stay here. Right now, America has the SECOND HIGHEST corporate tax rate in the world!! That is why it is so much more affordable for companies to ship out.

Giving tax breaks to companies that create jobs in America and NOT ship them overseas is what ought to be done...that's what I'm advocating as is Barack Obama and Carl Levin. It is lunacy to give companies that want the cheaper labor costs by shipping jobs overseas with no intention of ever bringing them back additional tax breaks on imported goods. Keep the jobs here in America and give those companies the breaks!!

Simple economics, Adam. If you tax something, it leaves. If I ever start a business, I'm not starting it here: I'll start it in Ireland because the tax rate on businesses is lower. Why do you think corporations are shipping jobs overseas?? Because it's easier and cheaper to run a business over there.

ohhhhh, nice one. I didn't seek this loser out on Youtube. I happened to run across one of his videos when watching some of Sen. Levin's. The point is, Jack is going to get smoked next Tuesday and I can't wait to add to his humiliation by not voting for his crazy ideas of tax breaks for huge corporations that ship jobs overseas or ease fuel efficiency standards...what a fool this guy is.

Adam64897, all you are proving is that you are one single person who is following all of Rep. Hoogendyk's videos in order to post rude comments on them. If you have something legitimate to say, then say it, don't taunt and jeer like a simpleton.
