@khushy100 Many thanks for your kind comment. You make feel so young. I am so sorry that I have no further information on this song. Shame on me! I tried Google earlier today, to no avail. Maybe brother imidadon or other You Tube users can help.

@Sholay48 Dear friend Sholay, 48,which is your age I presume?! You commented this song so fantastically that my heart and soul likes to listen to it over and over
again! But until yet I am unable to find out who wrote lyrics to this song? Please

sorry to dissappoint you jattmajhal sahib, i'm sure many rafi's are born in your city but this gem was born in dadyal in azad kashmir pakistan and grew up in the district of mirpur including the tehsil of dadyal!

jattmajhal sahab i am glad he was from your city also. but i dont think any mother in your city will ever give birth to another son like rafi sahab. tell mme a little about your city. is it known for giving birth to great men in the past?
I heard this song for the first time just after Rafi's death. This melody ripped my inside out. I could not stop cry my eyes out. In this song, Rafi takes us on a journey on this unknownn road, with all its ups and downs and finally leaves us safe at the end. Close your eyes and listen to this song again and travel with Rafi's voice all the way through and you will see what I mean. This is the master at his very best. The message is there. Its up to us to find it.
