I love taking part in these subterranian adventures from the comfort of my armchair - I also love the word "Kibble". - The unidentified Green stuff - I did a google image search for sulphery green cystals and it came up with (a) Iron Sulphate (green) and (b) ammonia Ferrous Suphate (greener) - Could it be these? or am I just communicating through my sphincter again!

@wibomps Actually you are bang on. The "green" stuff is Ferrous Sulphate (FE2, not FE3). I didn't know what it was when I saw it and had to take advice. You should get underground :o)) "kibble" - well, I first thought of the name of the character who played the fugitive in "The Fugituve" but it wasn't quite right :p When you are ready to have a peep into the underworld just give me a nudge (you know you want to) :o)
