In this segment, the TSA manager tells me I can leave security, redistribute the milk into half full containers (his completely made-up rule) and go through security all over again if I want to avoid xrays on the milk. With tears continuing to stream down my face, I did that. I also missed my flight playing along with his ridiculous game. Curiously, my second screening video (another 20 minutes) has been erased. During that portion, I was scolded for not watching the woman test my milk (I would turn my head away to hide the tears), the manager wrote down my personal information on a scratch piece of paper and tucked it in his pocket (who knows where that ended up- TSA could only say their "policy" was to destroy information like that...we all know how "policy" went that day, though), and took pictures of my breast milk for some unknown reason. Southwest put me on the next flight home and, as luck would have it, I was standing in line right behind my Constitutional Law professor from my law school days. At that point I knew I needed to stand up for my rights and help myself and other mothers against the uninformed, retalitory, and harassing TSA employees that help "keep us safe."

You can protest all you want and nothing will change. I like to use their regulations to have a little fun. If I know one of my friends will be flying the next day I will take their shoes or other item and put it into a bag of lawn fertilizer. The scanners detect the nitrates as explosives and they will go over you with a fine toothed comb. If everyone baited them with nitrate traces it would overwhelm their staff, kind of like if we all decided to fight our parking tickets at the same time

I am very proud of you for posting this video. TSA was not protecting the airline from someone who might want to blow up the plane. I know a bully when I see one. when TSA will not follow their own guidelines, where does that leave the flying public? TSA makes up their own rules, on the spot. It just depends on thier mood that day. It has nothing to do with airline safety. Good for you for posting this!

Stacey, I hope like heck that you are going to sue the crap out of the TSA and the airport! I canceled a flight a couple weeks ago because I didn't want to go through either the naked picture taking or the groping. I got my money back, believe it or not. But what you went through is inexcusable and illegal.

Id rather take a road trip for a few extra days then put up with all the mini tyrants and small minded trolls that work for the TSA... Hell save money, pack whatever you want, and avoid the jackalopes posing as airport security. Win-win-WIN in my book.
