This happens quite often during sunrises and sunsets. It's all due to the atmosphere. Six years ago, during the transit of Venus, a similar effect occurred that scientists knew about, dubbed the 'Black Drop' effect. Besides, if there were two Suns, doesn't it stand to reason that even if WE saw them edge on, satellites orbiting the Sun wouldn't? A very nice shot, but not quite what you say

Sunsets are beautiful and incredibly long lasting when viewed from the Andes Mountains of Chile on a day with high altitude clouds. .

@ArataMusic1, what BettyBate said, plus that the camera may have picked up a little infrared, which used to tint the sun in pinkish-purplish color and appear brighter than how the human eye perceives it.
