ROOOOOOOOOOLLING STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART!!!
I've had an awkward history as a gamer. Although I was born in the 90's, my main way of gaming was in an arcade (I could say I grew up in there), and my first home console game was the original Super Mario for the NES. Thus, I had the rare privilege of starting with some of the best gems in gaming history, instead of a brand new PlayStation like everyone else.
Daytona USA is part of it.
Imagine this: me, around 8-9 years old, asking a party of high school/college students if I could play with them (we had an 8-player deluxe cabin). They accepted 99% of the time, because, well, I was just a kid. And then I'd beat the holy crap out of them, making them doubt their own manhood :D
PC version doesn't do the arcade justice, though, but it's something. I get no sound for some reason, so I added the music. I just couldn't leave it out.
@br0th3rsh00t3r I've realized that in the cce version lap times are about 2 seconds faster than the arcade. I played for a while last night and found another racing line and now I've gotten a 14.63

"Goal"? I didn't see a ball anywhere XD
I admit that my first console was a PS1, but I had extensive experience with a SNES (primarily Starfox) when I lived in Saudi Arabia as a young 'un.
