As Tibetans mark the anniversary of a failed uprising against Chinese rule, China has been clamping down on ethnic Tibetan areas in China's west, sealing off many areas from outsiders.

Al Jazeera's Tony Cheng reports from the remote Tibetan community of Taktser in Qinghai province.

He or she has probably just spent too much time being brainwashed by Criminal Corruption TV.

  • @HumanRightsVideosT I love your inocence. lets have an imaginary situation in here. tomorrow, chinese empire collapses and all the different regions fight for their power. dalai and his exiles tries to go back to tibet and return control, but runs into resisitance from local groups and turns the whole region into a civil war (it will sure occur). as its powerful neighbor, india would most likely take over tibet in the name of protection.

  • @eastern2western

NZ could invade a bunch of small Pacific Island nations. But that doesn't happen. India would lose face in the eyes of the world if it invaded Tibet.

  • @HumanRightsVideosT India provides a place for the tibetan exiles to live due to humanitarian reasons. but the government does not regonize the exile government as a political structure, or even regonizes tibet as an independent country. if chinese government collapses and the tibet becomes an independent state, india would be the first country to jump over and take over tibet because the region provides a natural defense with china. in world of politics, strong eats the weak.

  • @eastern2western

India has been supporting Tibetans for about 52 years now. I don't think there is a problem between India and Tibet.

  • @HumanRightsVideosT even if the chinese empire collapsed, the tibetans inside of tibet would most likely not just give up their powers to a bunch of indians who never even spent a day in tibet.

  • @eastern2western

India seems to be busy sorting out its own problems rather than invading other countries
