Notice the Paras who take the jumper's static-lines; a pair of them will not be able to jump after everyone has exited because the Loadmasters need help pulling in static-lines and deployment bags. Safeties are the unsung heroes of American Airborne operations right along with the Parachute Riggers who make it all possible by packing parachutes so we can all jump safely. Why don't we honor the Safeties by improving our parachutes to Russian-style drogue activation
