  • can i back it up to cd or dvd and would it work if i did a clean install like if my computer messed up and i had to do a system recovery

  • @animefan035 Yes, you can back up the activation files to a CD or DVD. If your computer happens to get messed up someday you can use a system recovery disk and everything should activate automatically. If you choose to do a clean install then you will need to backup the activation files manually. Either way, the activation files can be used to reactivate office. In most cases, a person would most likely use the activation files on a clean install of Office as it would not be activated.

  • Good tutorial but one question. After activating Office with the activation backup files, do you turn back on the service or not?

  • Nice and clear.

However, for future videos please call out correctly: \ = Back slash (it leans to the back) / = Forward slash (it leans forward)

  • @qsilvr99 Your right. I noticed that after I published the video, but had no ambition to go back and correct it. Good catch.

  • HI I couldn't find the programdata folder and I myself figured out that you have to go to the menu bar at the top of the window and click on tools then click on folder options and then click on the view tab then you must select show hidden files then click on apply then it will appear in the list.
