Should've had his right thumb on top of the left one, left thumb should not be even touching, really. Index finger should be used as a guide for the front side. But don't listen to all the people saying you suck. For someone who obviously has minimal experience with that gun you did quite well :)
I own the same one (If it's the Custom TLE 2), it looked like it anyway.

Peter... i fire that 1 handed with less recoil. That is the best gun ever... i own one. But. You fire it like a woman

I did a basic safety class shooting 9's. The next day i went back to the range to shoot the 45.... it's not that crazy. I was surprised. And i'm not a big guy. It's not bad at all.. well on a Kimber that is. I'm buying one tomorrow..woohwoo!
