Too many slides. Use slides to make point. Show code or project that exercises and reinforces point. Repeat.

I have no idea what people complaining about his accent are talking about. I hardly notice anything at all.

@zorille8 What about u?

First impression: oh, he's using a Mac. Second: uhh, that's some accent. Third: duh, what an annoying t-shirt.

Wow, there's so many narrow minded people in this comments. A hammer will be a hammer regardless of what brand you use, is how you use it what will yield results.
As for the presentation, it gives a good general idea on what goes into developing an app, but does not teach you how to make an app, just an FYI.
And as an American English speaking individual, his accent sounds just fine and understandable to me

If I want to write apps where do I start if I've never written any code or anything. I'm a beginner beginner to all of this. Any advice would be great on where to start! :)

Am Listening, but I cant understand this guy talking :S He talks too fast and braided :(

I'm just thinking this's the great video for beginning who wanna know everything in deep, not just only know how to write.
Thanks
@mrmoe110 I actually think it's great that Google employees can choose what computer / OS / device they want to work with: Linux, Windows, Android or Macs - as opposed to being told what to use. Microsoft employees are forced to use Windows. Apple employees are forced to use Mac OS. Google's approach seems to be: let people use whatever is in the market out there and see where our own products can improve. At least, I think that's what they want.
