I believe that a portion of any amount of child support should automatically go into an interest bearing account in the child's name. That will insure that the support isnt being used to get mom's hair and nails done. That is whats happening to most support money given to the custodial parent (mostly mothers). It is "child support" not mommy support for her own personal gain. Also they need to start showing bills of sale for any item other than food that they spent money on in raising the child.

@mefit1 350 a month was decided off a 6.25 a hour fulltime job with no overtimes and of course she had no job all three trials.

I pay 350 dollars a month , I recently fell behind and now am looking at 6months in jail. I have 2 other kids that live with me that will be punished for 1. I completely agree with childsupport , but if she doesn't have a job why am I looking at jail time? Childsupport is a system to punish the none custodian parent as if they are criminals. Childsupport in no shape is fair and reasonable.

I only hope that her time will come and she can wonder how she can support her family with whats left.

I just have to say that when the "mans pill" comes out , ladies watch out, Your free ride is over! And the best part is,men won't just have the pill, they will have several methods of contraception.

I want my son to not have kids until HE is ready, not some horny little vixen who wants to trap him and ruin his life. I think men having a pill will help, but the "corrupt legal system" will have to be cleaned up and likely those who are responsible for the huge mess will have to be punished.
