The mellophone; is very easy compared to the french horn, but anyone who can play it is a god.. like myself. You my dear; and amazing.. I am a freshmen and first chair against a sophmore.. Just keep working<3

I have this mellophone but I can't get any sound out of it! I guess blowing horns is kinda tricky so any tips? .....!!!!!!!!!!

The highest note I heard was like a F.... not that high at all on a mello

@flutemaniac7 It is some sort of dynasty... I'm not sure. It's my school's mello, and the logo on it is like an older form of the dynasty logo, so I'm pretty sure it's ancient... But I'm using a schilke 30 horn mouthpiece with it

This is really good - any tips for high notes? ..I can play them but not consistently..

@chjola1 one good thing is to just go up to the highest note you can and sustain for as long as you can, and just continue that. Remember to use as little pressure from the mouthpiece as possible!
