@GypsyFairy69 Yes, I'll buy into that America, love it or leave it mentality, right away sir. I was stuck watching this nonsense, and I happen to like the leads. But don't I have the right to criticize if they got it wrong? Read the background of this. No one really wanted to do it until Ford thought (incorrectly) that his new company could make a buck out of it. Capra should have left well enough alone.

@Piangi The problem is with the quality of the CONTENT of the movie, and no individual clip is going to save it. Please "get out more" in your exploration of film.
-
@spagandtunaI I assure you I'm not overthinking anything.
Hey if Capra wanted to do a remake of his own film, why kick about?
And this is such bottom of the barrel drek as you call it.
Why are you here watching it?
-
@spagandtuna The quality of the clip is below par, but this was one of my favorite scenes from this film. Obviously, my estimate of a trillion was a tad over-exaggerated.
-
@Piangi You MUST be writing this from solitary confinement, criminal, mental, or otherwise. Let me know where you are and I'll come with the necessary implements to take you out of what must be insufferable misery. A TRILLION times? More than once is ghastly.
-
Wow, did they shine in this or what?! I could watch this film a trillion times and never tire of it!

The reason why this is thumbed down is because it is untrue. It may appear that way because of the shoddy quality but that is Bette Davis and you should look up some more of her films because she had NOTHING to do with Gilligan's Island.
And it is in fact Ann-Margret's very first appearance on film; her first scene in her first movie.

someone has information on peter mann?

You are mistakened that is Bette Davis.
Were you thinking of Natalie Schaffer who played Mrs. Howell( the millionare's wife) she was not even in this film.
