@tsdpurdue I was really pushing it with just one T8 over a 10g. but i was able to keep zoas mushrooms ect.just softies.But what gallon is your frag tank?if its a 10g you probably will be ok with 2 T8 fixtures over just softies.but i would recommend a T5 fixture that way you can have other corals than just softies:) and there are some good t5 fixtures out there for under 60 bucks! but if all you want is softies than you should be okay with 2 T8's over a 10g.

What type of Corals were you able to keep under the T8?? I have been wanting to start a frag tank and I was wanting to do a setup just like yours. I have 2 T8 fixtures and was just wondering if the light was strong enough to keep some zoes and soem softies
