@keoki46 Did they film the DC5 and the Animals separately from every one else in that movie?

This is just plain fantastic. You guys were amazing, and deserved to be in the big time. You really were just plain wonderful.

TCM just aired Get Yourself A College Girl again / got to this and all the other musical acts again....Did the Rhythm Masters ever do an LP? I see a reference to a 45 below ....I sure would like to have it. Just an idea, get the old recordings, & the mechanical licenses, release a retrospective collection. on CD!
Great stuff guys! full of energy like you never hear today...George, do you still have the chops??WOW if so.Cheers from Portland, just downriver from The Dalles

Craig, old buddy, this is. George, I have some comments here under keoki46. Please read them & get back to me here. Looking forward to hearing from you. Been in touch with Chapman for a while, & have finally found you. Woo Hoo! Still in the Great White North? I'm back in The Dalles. Got a lot of RM photos I can send if you like. Anyway, get ahold of me. Adios.... GB

It took the fellow ,doing the intro's, more than 15 takes to get it right. That was for Jimmy Smith. It was a great day. This is Craig Wood the banjo player. I have some 45's and a very poor video of The mickey Mouse Club performance, that Jim Chapman sent to me. It may be Neil on the drums, but the rest was overdubbed by some studio guys. He was an amazing drummer, and great friend. I found everybody(save Hal/bass) last year, including Gordon.Love to hear from all.

Hey, alsbabygirl. I have a couple other comments posted here & same deal goes for you too: if you get me an address I'll make copies of band photos & send them to you. Have quite a few of them. I think you would really enjoy seeing more of the young Craig. He was a talented musician & a good friend. Where is he, anyway? Would love to yak @ him.

Hello, my father Craig is the wonderful banjo player...first clip I have seen of him in his younger days!

This is George, the clarinet guy again, looking for Austinfilms2000. Get back to me & I'll hook you up with some band photos. I sent some to Jim (trumpet) already, & would be glad to do the same for you. Neil was right, it was the best of times. He left us way too soon. GB
George,
I love this performance! Incredible energy, and so different from everything else that was happening then (or now). I'd love to learn more about the history of this band.
