Primus Easy-fuel is good. Very stable clean and quick to boil. Weighs a bit more but doesn't fall over and spill your dinner all over your sleeping bag >:(

At 1:21 sounded like a jet taking off! Holy cool, think I'll use it to weld my broken bicycle frame. Are you sure mate, that that thing is safe? I would'nt let the children play with it!

what did Graham pronounce the Gas Canister? I can barely catch that word :)
-
Why would you buy something like this when you can get a used 530 that is both more robust in contruction and cheaper to opperate on pump gasoline?
Not to mention that stove will not work in the cold

Cold rations taste like S**t and does nothing more than piss everyone off in your section.but at least the Hexi cooker works in all weathers although 8 blocks wont last long in wet n windy conditions.

"I wonder why it is that these new style of gas cookers are not being issued to the military."
Because the wanker in charge of your supply system eats in the officers mess every night not out in the field?
Hey they always told us that eating cold rations "Builds character" Ya, right, I'm feeling better already :(

My "bomb proof" (almost all stainless steel except for the gas valve body which is heavy cast brass) 15 year old Primus "Classic Trail LPG Stove", using an empty coffee can for a pot and a piece of tinfoil for a lid and another piece for a heat shield will boil 500cc of water from 20 deg C in 3min 20 seconds. You can buy the stove new in Canada today for $20 (£15) and with the coffee can pot it weighs less than the ETA rig. Thats a "no brainer" for me but maybe I'm missing something...

Jetboil ripoff complete with worlds smallest frying pan.

im going to wait until it goes down in price.../;-)
Looks pretty cool but i had to laugh at the "ONLY" £60
