Karate Goju-Ryu - Seisan

Traduz-se pelo número 13. É praticado por muitos estilos Okinawenses (Shuri e Naha). Acredita-se ser um dos kata mais antigos em Okinawa, este kata acentua o fundamento de várias técnicas de chutes. Conhecido como um dos 2 kata de treinamento do Goju-Ryu por Meitoku Yagi, este Kata começa como o Kata Sanchin, e contém técnicas destinadas a dominar a linha de centro do oponente, e também vários chutes baixos.

this is not good there are moves missing in the performance of the kata ! after the first turn there are 4 Sukui uke before making the figure of eight movement with the left hand which is missing! and the tempo is wrong !! take a look at moria higaonna sensei for the real deal !

Wow, Isshin-ryu and Goju-ryu differ greatly in their seisan. I find that quite interesting. I take Isshin-ryu, and I learned it much differently from this, it's basically like another kata. At least, from a novice's first glance.

Dpending on where you take it and who you learn from it may be very anywhere from one step to the entire kata, unfortunately. I learned it differently...

Very nice. Great precision and focus, even though this is clearly a "softer" interpretation of the kata than most I have seen.

There's less life,less power or speed in this kata by this young man than one done by an aged master such as Teruo Chinen, Morio Higaonna or Anichi Miyagi.
