Sony DCR-TRV xxx around $250 on ebay (suprisingly expensive), from memory there are different models for PAL and NTSC

where can i buy this sony digital 8mm at?

My Sony digital 8mm can play analogue 8mm tapes and it has a 1394 / Firewire socket. So all you have to do is stick the tape in, connect it to the computer and capture the film to the computer where you can edit it.
what if the camcorder doesnt read the footage because of the speed record in?
