Getting Rid of Balloons

We had these balloons lying around for over a week. Rather than pop them, I decided to snip the necks of the balloons to let the air out slowly. I noticed they would spin in midair. I thought it was fun, so I grabbed the camera.

I had a goofier version of this, with a parody song at the end, but I liked the melancholy version here better.

I think it is important to pop balloons when you are done with them. That is the only way the balloon can fulfill it's final destiny

Not true at all. The noise is terrible, plus it is more wasteful and destructive to pop. Plus, this vid takes into account phobics and non-poppers for respect reasons :-) . How can popping ever be fun? That is too vague of a comment.

This vid really made my day :) . This IS the best alternative to popping since I also hate seeing balloons being popped and the noise can hurt people's ears over time if exposed to it on a regular basis. Plus, you all did the right thing for environmental purposes: snipping the neck keeps the balloon in one piece, which makes for clean up a snap, instead of cleaning up pieces everywhere and that the little pieces can be more deadly for environmental reasons.
