As I read people's comments, It is one thing around the world that is true. No matter where you go, darker skin people will always get mistreated. @Rico8458: THAT is reallyt quite inevitable now. I gave up my last illusion & hope for SA when I saw them sponsoring their disgusting infamous Durbin Conference. The one titularly "against" racism but which effectively was turned into a Nuremberg like rally agains the Jews. A clearer demonstration of the mentality & intentions of those who run (& not lead) SA could hardly be imagined. The thing is, the presently more marginal states which surround SA will sink w/ her.

During the Holocaust, I had a German say that German was at it's peak with industrial growth, development and research...but does that make Nazism right? NO! Neither was apartheid. Everything the blacks did was for the Resistance movement, even the ones who were paid informants for the apartheid government were victims. I don't have any sympathy for White South Africans who continue to excuse white racism in South Africa.

Yes south africa has its problems,but the people will overcome them,they always have.I fail to understand why the afrikaners find this hard???oh i know,for the first time they dont have special treatment just because their are white!Those so called terrorists were to most people freedom fighters and yes freedom did come!now the hard part is fixing past wrongs that happened for decades and weve only had 14yrs all thats happening now shoud be expected it could have been worse.

Im not sure what i expected to see when i looked at this post,yet i feel compelled to comment.What happened in the apartheid era was cruel and through out history we have learned that it is never right nor justified to oppress onother race be it sytematic or otherwise.everything thats happening now in south africa is the by product of the past and if the minority think they will rule again thats just silly it will never happen ever again.
