The survivors of the 1984 Union Carbide (Dow Chemicals) gas disaster in Bhopal are still taking to the streets to raise awareness. Bhopalies say NO to any interference with regards to the `polluter pays principle', which is valid in the US and India.
In a January 17, 2007 rally, survivors maintained that Dow Chemicals is responsible and liable for the damages caused by Union Carbide in Bhopal.
