Sims 3 husband leaves to play computer games while wife in labor

My sims took approx 4-5 sim hours to give birth. :O
Is this normal? I made her stay at home to give birth, she took forever!
Hah even her husband gave up on waiting for her to give birth and went to play a game.

I named the boy James. :)

Haha! My sim's husband wanted to sleep, so he made her drive herself to the hospital, and then wait there until he arrived, and then she still had to drive home while carrying newborn triplets.

I can't give her 3 to 10 apples or 3 to 10 watermelons when i hear a sound and she changes in maternity cloths once she does this I can't choose the apples or watermelons for her to eat it won't change the gender of the baby by this time cause the game has already decided what the baby gender is gonna be thats why if your wanting a girl soon as you see her start haveing morning sickness make her eat 3 to 10 watermelon to have a girl and if you want her to have a boy 3 to 10 apples .

i used no apples and no watermelons to have a boy or a girl on my gossin family i just let nature take its course and whatever gender the baby is it is but on thee other sims 3 familys I played I used 3 to 10 watermelons to get a girl and 3 to 10 apples to get a boy when she is haveing morning sickness I make her eat 3 to 10 apples to have a baby boy or 3 to 10 watermelons to have a girl .

that is hilarious the guy screaming while his wife is in labor I am like dang dude thats your wife remain calm and stay by her side while she has the baby. on my sims 3 soon after the baby is born on my game they want to have another child so have them go to bed and try to have a baby cause its what they want so i give in and let them she is pregnant with her 4th baby right now soon after they had there 3rd baby her and husband first had a son then a daughter then they had a son .
