  • Biffy use Drop D in every song on puzzle except living is a problem which is Drop C.

  • I wonder if it's because of some heavy metal influence. There old stuff did have a hint of metal.

  • Drop D tuning.

  • I didn't know that. I don't use the 6th string here so I guess it doesn't matter.

  • im guesing its standard tuning ??

  • yes. I was tired of saying standard tuning at the start of every vid so nowadays I will only say the tuning if it's something other than standard.

    Liam, from Scotland

  • very good. nice idea with the tabs in the video 5*

  • I like the bass part of this song...

  • so yeah, this is in Drop D, I may have to post a response with how they really do it (:

  • They use Drop D in 'Saturday Superhouse', 'Who's Got A Match?', 'As Dust Dances', 'A Whole Child Ago', 'Now I'm Everyone', 'Semi-Mental', I think 'Love Has A Diameter', Definitely 'Get Fucked Stud' & 'Folding Stars', but I'm pretty sure Drop C in 'Living Is A Problem...' but could be Standard C, and the same tuning is used for 'The Conversation Is...' & '9/15ths'. The other '/15ths' are on piano. 'Machines' is definitely in Standard, I've seen it live, he tuned it up. Was EPIC. Great song guys(:
