  • Ohh, there is noway around the hatefulness of this....but "highschool" comes to mind on this. This show should not be done by....oh, I don't know - I am an over critical d#@k. But, this is a song that should be handled by absolute professionals. This version...not so much.

  • mmmm I hate to disagree, however, let's clarify. This was not a full production of the show, clearly. This was a musical revue which happened to contain this number. I too am an INCREDIBLY critical person, and how I can see that perhaps the direction, and choreography, and set, may come across as "highschool"-esque, there are plenty of positive things to be said. The ensemble work between the three ladies is spot on...blend, intonation everything is there.

  • This is an incredibly difficult song to get to sound just right live, as is apparent by the enormous amounts of shitty versions on youtube. This was clearly posted as an example of music direction....while I too enjoy posting my opinions on bad clips...I ALWAYS give credit where its due, and I feel you missed the mark on this one...

  • gotta again give kudos.... the voices on key and the ladies touched me... nice..

  • We're about to do this piece for my schools broadway review, and watching this really helped! Their' singing is great!!

  • Did "Maggie" miss a part where she explains that her father was an Indian chief? I love that part and they all did an excellent job!

  • Maggie has such incredible voice control! She does a very good vibratto, but it's her perfect non-vibratto pitched singing at the high notes that is very rare. Vibratto is often used to cover off-pitched notes. She sings boldly and beautifully! Wow!

  • @jpc2005 you enjoy posting your opinions on bad clips

    isn't life too short?

  • I thought that that was absolutely beautiful. I actually got goosebumps from the lady who played Maggie.

This is my favourite song from A Chorus Line and these ladies did not dissapoint me.

    Tremendous! Brava! x

  • I feel like if the dancer was going to wear pointe shoes, she should have been en pointe the whole time, not demi. of course, this is spoken lightly because i am still working on my pointe. i just think it would have given her more grace and added to the feel of the song (which is amazing by the way: the girls are spectacular)

  • Why so technical? For all intents and purposes she's using her Mix to produce a belty sound. I think when people are mixing to produce a belty sound then it's belting...just proper belting.

  • Whoa, I own that same dress that the girl playing Sheila was wearing! Man, those girls can sing, though. All three have amazing voices.

  • She is definitely mixing that.. Not belting.
