the masks aren't just to cover up the face because of appearance. its more about private life. if you apply for a job, and your boss recognizes you and goes "oh yes i know you, you make those violin videos, i saw one once", then your videos become the subject and people are judging you based on those videos. Its about separating your hobbies from your private life.

Caucasians are quite nice on commenting on Videos. Even if your looks are "below the average," they won't mention and comment on his/her talent. But Asians ( not all ) usually mention about the looks first.
