Chris Dittmar heads just over the border in NSW to discover Silverton -- an Outback town with plenty of charm. The Silverton Hotel is the heart of the town and has featured in many movies and commercials, in fact the walls inside are covered with photographic testimonials of past characters and movies which have been shot here. We meet the new publicans who have a strong connection to this stunning outback town.
On the topic of films - we take a look at the brand new Mad Max Museum -- which houses a very impressive collection of cars, memorabilia, photos and items collected and inspired from the Mad Max Movies. Briton Adrian Bennett moved his family from Yorkshire to the Outback to open a museum dedicated to this classic Australian Post-apocalyptic film and has just opened the museums doors to the public.

The Mad Max Museum, Stirling Street, Silverton NSW
Open 9am - 5pm 7 Days
