One of the most beautiful laments. This was written by Jay Ungar. I first heard it first on the PBS mini-series The Civil War, and was immediately captivated by its beauty.
Update: After doing the recording, I was in at the computer checking the video when my wife called me to the kitchen and and told me to bring a camera. A deer had entered the scene where I had been recording. The photo shows the cello leaning against the stool and the deer looking on from behind a tree.
