@jelisa46 Ya know, talent is one thing. Putting yourself out there, and proving it over a career the length of Blackmore's is something entirely different. Bolin may have had all the talent in the world, but speaking of the two in the same breath (apart from the fact that they were both in DP) is a bit silly IMO. If Bolin's work had lasting influence similar to a Jimi Hendrix (who also had a relatively short career) it would make more sense.

Blackmore was a giant among rock guitarists no doubt.very stylized though.lots of arpeggios and 4 bar riffs.Tommy Bolinhowever was on a much higher level.The same ranks of Methaney,maclaughlin or satrioni.Joe Walsh once said he was the greatest that he ever heard.
hughes is already fooling around, but ok they want to have fun^^ and great guitar by bolin. they both were drug-addicts... hughes survived, bolin didn't. but here he is still great

They only did 1 album, and most of that, including this track..remember this is a demo..was quite good.
