Looks like it's got the potential for being a right cozy camp setup. How did the shelter do for you. Did it rain? If so, Did it shed the water okay?

@phreshayr it did great! and yes it did rain the second day. it rained during the day and a little at night. it kept the rain out extreamly well. of course there were a few drops, but nothing that would have woken me up during the night and they were easy to fix with another hemlock branch. while it was raining during the day, we just sat in the shelter and made some figure 4 deadfalls and paiute deadfalls to set up when the rain passed.
