St Kilda Night Market - Fire Spinning

Finally, the finished product. All those test videos weren't for nothing... see? Looks pretty darn gorgeous I think, especially in HQ, if you don't watch it in HQ, I'm crossing you off my friends list (just joking, I don't have enough friends to really call it a "list").

This video is just a little compilation of some of my favourite spinners doing their thing at the St Kilda Night Market in Melbourne. Lovely location, great people and an awesome atmosphere, I can't wait for it to come again next summer.

Those gloves you wear during fire performances.

Do they help protect.

I have loads of burns from hot chains during arm wraps.

Where did you get them from?

Yes, I still get burnt, but not nearly as much. Check out work safety stores or welding equipment specialists or any other store that is likely to sell industrial safety equipment. At these stores enquire about fire-retardant materials, gloves etc for welding or handling of hot materials and they should point you in the right direction.
