Part 2 on how to knit gloves.

Accompanying blog post here:

http://cargoddess.blogspot.com/2011/04/fingerless-gloves.html

As stated in the first video, I'm assuming going into this that you know the basics (knit, purl, casting on, etc) and know how to knit in the round.

This video shows how to transfer stitches to waste yarn and how to re-join the round to finish the hand part of the glove. I demonstrate the backwards loop cast on, but I don't really go into detail about it,

Again, if anyone wants/ needs clarification on anything in my videos, by all means ask. :)

  • @TheQuail07 I think I responded to your PM, but I'll respond here as well. The link is in the video info area :)

  • @padrelaw Glad you like the thumbhole- it's a fairly standard way of doing so. Actually, I appear to be wearing my now departed snake-patterned maxi dress in this one, but I do wear a denim skirt on occasion. There's also a yellow one mixed in there somewhere. My lap is way easier than the tables I have, regardless of my skirts that appear in the background. :)

  • that's really ingenious how you make the thumb hole. I find it interesting that you don't work and film over a table, as most videos do, but instead work over your legs -- but denim skirt? Hmm.

  • looks really easy, thanx for sharing... where can i get the pattern for it?

  • @busyhappyknitter hello! Life mildly got in the way with work and whatnot- I have half of the final video done, I just need to finish the 2nd half and edit. I meant to publish this past weekend, but our work servers decided that they were going to flip out on me. LOL

  • Hi what's up, I haven't heard or seen any new videos from you in months. Are you still going to do the videos that I requested. I know that life can get very busy at times. Just wanting to hear from you about what's going on with your knitting. Respond back when you get a chance to thanks.
