I believe more and more everyday that human life is a mistake and our true way of life is that of the "spirit" or whatever you wanna call it.

Religion is no longer RELEVANT. not any more. Religion could influence the primitive peoples strongly who lived thousands of years ago and kept them fearfully submesive to the ruling families, but it no longer has that power today, because people know better now. so people do need new ideas, evolved ideas based on reality. Bill is absolutly correct. once the fear of god is removed humans can think freely and it's only then that the evolution of mind happens.

@dmak646 "he's not dead he is in a better place" I do not think so, there is no afterlife. I personally am glad there is no heaven, it would be like living in a celestial North Korea. No heaven, no hell and no god.

No one even comes close. Never has, never will. Carlin was good but never talked about politics and had the motto "Fuck Hope". Bill had more hope than anyone and that is why he was so saddened and disappointed by the indifference of his beloved country. Thank you, Bill. May we, your goat children have our third eyes squeegeed clean with the help of psilocybin and your always caring words.
