  • @chrisisaboss707 Bad advise, getting a bike at a young age is already problematic but saying to get something bigger than a 500 is just plain dumb and not responsible. A 250 is a perfect beginner bike, even if you want to move up after one season, you will be a better rider. Sincerely..Thomas G., certified MSF course and super-bike training school instructor.

  • @chrisisaboss707 1000cc's is a bit much for a first bike dont you think?

  • In Vietnam, these bikes are consider BIG bikes. I don't know why others get like 1000cc as their first bike. I would be happy with a 250cc.

  • At 42yrs young I ride a ctm125 and wear a full length jacket with full CE armour. You can kill yourself just easily at 65mph as 165mphin my opinion. As for jumping on a 1000cc bike straight away - a bit mad to be fair. Build up with caution I say, that way you learn your craft in less hazardous situations. Here in the UK it is compulsory to pass a basic training course before you are allowed to ride on the road.

  • is this good for a beginner??

  • all the arguement about beginner starting w/ 250 or bigger...i havent ridden a bike for a longtime...like 5yrs..so its like a beginner..then i bought1 a 650cc boulevard s40..i feel like a real beginner...and just wanna say the guy is over dress...lol..

  • @ererye I have no idea why people are telling you to get a bigger bike. If you are learning to ride I would definitely start on a 250.

  • I get swole watchin a good ride on a good bike.

    FTW

  • dumbass didnt even look for cars haha

  • people don't have brains they think it's so cool to own a big bike well believe me start on a 250, then when you can ride go for something bigger these dudes get there license and they think they can ride, well they can't

  • @chrisisaboss707 great! I am 6'2" too. was wonder the size of the bike. thanks

  • @ererye @ererye

I have an 01' rebel 250 and I love it. people rag on it for being too small and underpowered but I can get up to 75 just fine on the highway and keep up with traffic. plus the rebel is extreemely reliable and easy to maintain. if you want a reb, dont let anyone talk you out of it. you can come over to hondarebelforum [.] com and have about three hundred other people tell you what a great bike it is. im wrzesinski if you come over!
